Location

New York, United States

CDCMo’s initial project, slated for summer 2025, is an interactive gallery showcasing artful furniture and design objects made from recycled organic waste. In addition to demonstrating the full life cycle of these materials, we will educate visitors about minimizing waste generation and optimizing community-based assets. We will also invite and encourage visitors to share their own ideas for meeting and overcoming innovation and ecosystem challenges.

Our aim is for visitors to experience heightened awareness of interconnectedness and the symbiosis between living and nonliving things and to inspire stakeholder engagement in combating climate change.

Local Waste into New Materials
Utilizing abundant, underutilized resources with minimal outputs to our earth and atmosphere, our partners create materials and products with their end-use in mind (whether reuse, redistribution, or recycling). We support and facilitate our partners to develop full supply chains local to NYC and strategically expand their brands.
